Easter Dinner

Easter Dinner Table



The turquoise "Le Creuset" baking dish in the foreground is 43 years old and 
has been well used. The pink dishes are vintage "pyrex"


Dessert !
Lemon meringue seems appropriate for spring to me. I also made Banana Cream .






Our favorite appetizer
Hot Swiss Almond Dip & fresh veggies!

RECIPE
SWISS ALMOND DIP

8 ounces cream cheese 
1/2 cup miracle whip
1/2 cup swiss cheese, grated
 2 teaspoons finely chopped chives(or green onions)
1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds
Mix and put in ovenproof dish
Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly and lightly browned on top

  2. Aww..this is all so beautiful! I will have to bookmark it. I'm useless in the decorating department. Never heard of Swiss Almond dip! Funny, because I am Swiss. =) I will try it soon, it sounds great. Oh, and thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. It really cheered me up.

    1. I don't think the recipe is Swiss, it just uses almonds and swiss cheese. You are welcome for the comment, don't doubt yourself.
