LEVI'S QUIET BOOK

I decided my first DIY share would be a project that is a lot of  fun to do but also extremely time consuming, a Quiet Book that I made for my grandson Levi!

.
The front cover is a picture of my grandson which I printed on fabric.

There are many options for a house page and pictures of your family in the windows makes it personal!

The idea for the running shoe came from:leafytreetopspot.blogspot.com/
I personalized it with a few details.

The inspiration for this SPORTS
page came from:.elisaloves.com

There are a lot of different barn pages out there. I took my idea
I added the silo instead of the embroidered windmill.

The finger puppet animals can be  found at:floralblossom.blogspot.com

The Garden page idea came from leafytreetopspot.blogspot.com
with a few additions by me.

Every book needs a shapes page.I decided to use sew on snaps as they were easier for little hands to snap and unsnap. A pocket to hold the shapes is necessary.

And a counting page. I found the numbers at joann.com

I love the toolbox from:  servingpinklemonade.blogspot.com and the tutorial and patterns are great! I didn't get the screws and bolts made but he loved it anyway.

A little machine embroidery on the back cover.

ALL THE PAGES!
There were so many more I wanted to do but they
 will have to come later.

I still look at all the pictures everyone posts and love new ideas.

Have fun creating!

  2. What a wonderful idea! I love each and every page. I am not the best when it comes to machine sewing, but I am going to make the effort to make a quiet book for my little wee one here. Thank you for sharing as I have never seen a book like this before, it's wonderful.
