Craft Room Makeover Continues!

Finally after a year of thinking about it I finished my makeover on my desk and dresser in my craft room. The room is  small and somewhat crowded with furniture  but I need the storage in the dresser for craft supplies and the desk is used for sewing.

Functionality is important but I also believe that beauty and enjoying where you work is important to0.

My craft room is very colorful but the main colors are green yellow and white with a little orange for accents.

I love to make things with felt and use a lot of it for the quiet book pages I make. Here is an example of how I store it in the dresser :

What is your craft room like?

    1. How do you like the basket on my desk now? The trim color shows up so much more.

  2. I love it!! I love colors. You did a great job! I have hardly ever painted furniture..mostly because..I am a big fat chicken, and I'm so afraid of doing it wrong. I once painted a wall, then got paint happy and painted a desk, w/ the roller from the wall! Needless to say...the paint peeled and it wasn't very nice looking. But your desk and dresser are so great!! Good job! My craft room is um...you don't want to know. It's a big folding table in my master bedroom, w/ fabric junk all over it. =l I don't have a real craft room. Still trying to figure that part out in this house.

    1. Thanks Elisa. It took many years for me to finally have a craft room and it is so nice to have a place to keep the mess. I remember lots of projects on my dining room table. It will come in time.
